Second wave of stars joins Indigenous All Stars squad

The AFL has announced the second wave of players joining the 2025 Toyota AFL Indigenous All Stars squad ahead of their highly anticipated match against Fremantle on February 15 at Optus Stadium. Fans can now purchase tickets for what promises to be a showcase of Indigenous talent and culture.

The new additions include Fremantle recruit Shai Bolton, a two-time Premiership player and 2022 All Australian, along with his Dockers teammate Alex Pearce. Adelaide’s rising star Izak Rankine and Hawthorn’s Jarman Impey, a member of the 2015 Indigenous All Stars team, also join the squad.

Bolton shared his excitement about being selected:
“I’m very excited, it’s a game that I’ve always wanted to play in. I’ve watched a lot of my idols play in them like Adam Goodes, and I’m just excited to finally be a part of one.”

Impey added, “I’m very proud to be selected in the Indigenous All-Stars squad and playing amongst a few great friends and great teammates over my journey. I’m looking forward to representing my people and being a part of the team.”

These players join a star-studded line-up, including Charlie Cameron, Callum Ah Chee, Michael Walters, Liam Ryan, Bobby Hill, Bradley Hill, and Kysaiah Pickett.
