The AFL has unveiled the fixture for the 2025 AAMI Community Series, set to run from 25 February to 2 March, marking the prelude to the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. All 18 AFL clubs will participate in matches held at venues across the country, with free entry for all members and kids.
AFL Head of Strategy and Scheduling, Josh Bowler, highlighted the series as a vital start to the season.
“The 2025 AAMI Community Series is a great opportunity for fans to get their first look at their teams for the season. We’re looking forward to seeing thousands of supporters get behind their clubs in what will be a great spectacle for the whole family,” Bowler said.
Suncorp Chief Executive Consumer Insurance Lisa Harrison expressed AAMI’s pride in supporting the series.
“The AAMI Community Series officially heralds the start of the footy season and brings the excitement of live football to supporters in local and regional communities across Australia,” Harrison said.
The series will feature full-length matches with four 20-minute quarters plus time-on, squads of 30 players, and a full umpiring panel appointed by the AFL. Teams may also participate in match simulation training sessions ahead of the series, with details to be communicated by clubs.
All matches will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo, providing fans nationwide the opportunity to catch the action. Tickets for the series will go on sale in February, with additional information to be released in late January.
For footy fans, the AAMI Community Series offers a unique chance to experience live matches in a family-friendly environment, kicking off an exciting 2025 season.
