Bulldogs back Ugle-Hagan during personal challenges

The Western Bulldogs have released a statement confirming that forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is currently on flexible training arrangements as he manages personal issues.

Ugle-Hagan, a key player for the Bulldogs, has been alternating his training between Mission Whitten Oval and other locations, with the full endorsement of the football program.

The club emphasised its commitment to supporting Ugle-Hagan during this time, maintaining constant communication with him, his family, and his management to ensure his wellbeing.

In their statement, the Bulldogs highlighted the importance of prioritising Ugle-Hagan’s health and wellbeing and requested that his privacy be respected as he navigates this period.

“The Club continues to provide its full support to Jamarra and remains in constant contact with him, his family and his management,” the statement read.

Ugle-Hagan has been a standout player since joining the Bulldogs as the number one pick in the 2020 AFL Draft. Known for his athleticism and goal-scoring ability, the 21-year-old forward has been instrumental in the club’s forward structure.

While there has been no confirmation on when Ugle-Hagan will return to full training, the Bulldogs have made it clear that his personal wellbeing takes precedence over football commitments.

For now, the Bulldogs community and AFL fans are encouraged to respect Ugle-Hagan’s privacy, allowing him the space and support needed to focus on his health.
